Giving Back at SuperZoo

Giving Back at SuperZoo

Our team is back from a whirlwind week at SuperZoo, which took place in Las Vegas from August 23-25. SuperZoo is a B2B industry trade show that brings together buyers and sellers from different parts of the pet industry. With over 1200 exhibitors, we had an amazing time meeting everyone and showing off our Earth Rated booth. We believe in empowering dog owners to have a positive impact on both their dogs' lives and the community around them.

With this in mind, our ever-present Giving Back Wall featured three Nevada-based charities that represent our commitment to people, planet, and pups. That's right, attendees were once again invited to drop a roll core – representing $5 each – into the charity bin of their choice! 311 people voted for The Reno Initiative for Shelter and Equality, for a total of $1,555 donated, 293 voted for the Friends of Nevada Wilderness, for a total of $1,465 donated, and 396 people voted for Nevada SPCA, for a total of $1,980 donated! Learn a bit more about each organization below.

Since 1982, the Nevada SPCA has been saving the lives of Southern Nevada’s most vulnerable pets. Through their work and the help of volunteers and donations, they hope to inspire human companions to uphold the best possible care, while increasing the human-animal bond through adoption, foster, and preventative care.

Friends of Nevada Wilderness is dedicated to preserving all qualified Nevada public lands as wilderness, protecting all present and potential wilderness from ongoing threats, informing the public about the values of and need for wilderness, and restoring and improving the management of wild lands.

The Reno Initiative for Shelter and Equality helps cultivate a greater sense of dignity and humility by providing equal access to shelter, knowledge, and opportunity. They seek to create a stronger community through the use of shared resources and mutual aid.

Here at Earth Rated, our goal is to always offer the best service and experience at every touch point and to do that by being honest, transparent and kind.
