Our 2022 #EarthRatedCares blanket campaign has officially wrapped!

From April 27th through May 4th, our followers tagged us in their social media posts along with the hashtag #EarthRatedCares. A HUGE thank you to everyone who shared their rescue stories and nominated their favorite shelters to win some cozy fleece blankets. Because of YOU, we were able to donate 709 blankets!

“Paul was picked up as a stray in Texas during the summer heat. He went from shelter to shelter but he kept escaping till he finally was taken in at @savethedals. They performed health exams and treated for Paul for heart worm. Pail was still able to jump over the fences and he kept escaping so he was in need of a foster home. Connor first fostered Paul but because they were so good together he officially adopted him and has never escaped! Paul goes to work with Connor everyday and enjoys adventures on the weekends.” -Paul_and_connor

“My husband and I had been looking for a dog to share our home with and we stumbled upon a video from Valley Boxer & Mastiff rescue showing a 7 year old dog who loved belly rubs. She had come to the rescue not long ago and had been a mom to many puppies. Upon meeting, our first impression of Jersey was what a big beautiful girl she was! She was good walking on a leash but when she wanted to discover a new smell, you would be sure to come along for the fun! Oh what a joy she has been! Now, 9 years old and Jersey still loves belly rubs! We are thankful every day to be able to enjoy her loving personality and have her part of our family. There are so many wonderful pets looking for a forever home and we are so happy to have found Jersey.” – Carolyn Savage

“Meet Margie, our special needs senior pup adopted through Save me Rescue. She was found stray, clearly had a disability that effected her back end. We’ve had her 5 yrs and in that time she has continued to lose communication to her back legs, she can no longer walk but she’s so full of spunk and opinions. We help her navigate through life, including feeding and bathing, and we will continue to do so as long as her life quality is good and she is happy.” -Colleen Varanelli

Every year, we donate hundreds of blankets to shelter pups and support other initiatives and organizations that share our values. We’re so incredibly proud to partner with (RED)– alongside some of the world’s most iconic brands—to help strengthen healthcare systems in communities that need it most. We’ve also partnered with SNAP Quebec to help conserve Canada’s natural spaces and wildlife to help make a difference in biodiversity protection.
