We all know your pup is as sweet as can be. Show them some extra love by cooking up some easy DIY dog treats!
Did you know some human foods, like sweet potatoes, can be a delicious and safe treat for your dog, too? Tested by the Earth Rated team and happily gobbled down by our office dogs, these home cooked treats are sure to delight with every bite.
You will need:
Two large sweet potatoes
Knife
Baking sheet
Cookie cutter (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
Cut the sweet potatoes into 1/4" slices.
Optional: Make things a little more fun by cutting the slices into shapes using your favorite cookie cutter!
Spread the sweet potato slices out on the baking sheet, and put them in the oven for at least one hour. If your slices are a little too thick or you prefer to dry them out more, leave them in longer.
Allow to cool, then serve and enjoy!
