Where are you located?
Bonjour! Our office is located in Montreal, Canada.
-
Why is picking up poop important?
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) classifies dog waste as an environmental pollutant, and one gram of dog poop can contain over 23 million bacteria. No matter if you live in a small town or large city, the ecosystem isn’t built to handle dog waste. The best way to be a responsible dog owner is to pick up poop and throw it into the trash (or compost for our light-green bags) to ensure it does not contaminate your environment.
-
Can you make custom poop bags?
We sure can! Head over to our private label page and fill out the form and we’ll be in touch shortly.

Poop bag FAQ
-
Are your bags biodegradable?
Our dark green-colored bags contain an EPI additive which helps them to break down, unlike traditional plastic bags. As international standards vary by country, and in order to comply with all labeling regulations, we do not label our bags as biodegradable. We do offer certified compostable bags made from vegetable starches and have been BPI-certified and meet both ASTM D6400 and EN13432 guidelines which allows them to be disposed of in a municipal composting facility that accepts pet waste.
-
What does "EPI additive" mean?
EPI is the developer of Totally Degradable Plastic Additive (TDPA) which is the technology used in our green-colored bags. EPI testing shows that TDPA allows the bags to break down as it reacts to variables such as heat, oxygen and agitation, is non-toxic and produces no harmful residue. We invite you to visit their website where you can find some further information on how EPI works!
-
Are your bags compostable?
Our light green bags are BPI-certified compostable and are made from vegetable starches. They also meet both ASTM D6400 and EN13432 guidelines which allows them to be disposed of in a municipal composting facility that accepts pet waste. Please note that not all composting facilities may accept pet waste and we suggest verifying with your municipality for details
-
Is the lavender scent artificial?
62% of our lavender scent is naturally sourced from essential oils derived from fruits, plants and spices. The remaining 38% is a binding agent that helps the scent adhere to our bags. The lavender scent accounts for 1% of the total make-up of our bags.
-
How long can I keep your bags for?
Our dark green-colored bags contain an EPI additive which accelerates the breakdown process, therefore, we recommend keeping them for no more than 24 months. We also suggest storing them in a dry, cool area, as light and heat can accelerate the breakdown process.
Our certified compostable bags are made up of vegetable starches, therefore, we recommend keeping them for no more than 12 months while also storing them in a dry, cool area.
-
Help! I am having trouble opening the bags.
Dry fingertips can sometimes make it harder to pull the bag open. If you are having trouble opening them, we suggest pinching the top of the bag to separate the sides or even slightly moistening your fingertips.
Still having trouble? Perhaps trying our handle bags with a wider opening could help! -
How thick are your bags?
Dark Green-colored bags: 15 microns thick
Certified Compostable bags: 20 microns thick
-
Do you offer any larger bags for bigger messes?
Our handle bags are extra wide to clean up bigger messes and to accommodate bigger hands!
But we understand that XL dogs sometimes need XL bags! We also offer XL poop bags exclusively available online!
-
Do your bags contain latex?
None of our bags nor any of our packaging contains latex.
-
Which bags do you recommend for scooping cat litter?
Our handle bags or our XL bags are perfect for cat litter cleanups, as cat litter scoopers can easily fit through the extra-wide openings.
